Say What You Need To Say
Recently my four year old had a friend over. There were squabbles but overall the three kids were doing great together. At some point around Hour 3 of the visit I hear my three year old grunt-sigh then loudly exclaim, "Evie, I am REALLY mad at you!"
I couldn't tell you what was said in reply because the rest of their conversation was in normal tones and the sound didn't carry into the kitchen.
But just hearing that one line felt so refreshing-- say it, handle it, move on.
Amazing how my preschoolers keep reminding me of life lessons
